The Figurines Flopsy Mopsy and Cottontail and Cottontail (Sitting on a Chair) are two of the most delightful Beatrix Potter Figurines.
The Flopsy Mopsy and Cottontail Figure comes in two styles.
Style One was issued in 1954 and ran until 1997. It was modelled by Arthur Gredington and has the back-stamps BP-1a, BP-2, BP-3a, BP-3b, BP-3c, BP-4 or BP-5.
N.B. 1.There are colour variations of the cloaks.
2. Angle of bunnies heads may vary.
Style Two was modelled by Shane Ridge and was issued in 2002 in a limited edition of 1,500. It has the back-stamp BP-11b. In this version the little rabbits are not wearing cloaks and they are centred around a pot.
Cottontail (Sitting on a Chair)
Sweet little Cottontail was modelled by David Lyttleton and ran from 1985 to 1996. It has the back-stamps BP-3b, BP-3c or BP-4.
