Tabitha Twitchit and Tabitha Twitchit and Miss Moppet are two delightful Figurines
 
Tabitha Twitchit was modelled by Arthur Gredington and comes in two variations.
 
In variation one  Tabitha has a blue and white striped V neck to her dress.  It was issued in 1961 and discontinued in 1974.   It has the back-stamp BP-2, BP-3a or BP-3b.
 
N.B. Tabitha “Twitchit is spelled “Twitchett” on the
BP-3a and BP-3b back-stamps.
 
In variation two Tabitha has a White V neck to her dress.  This variation was issued in 1975 and ran until 1995 and has the back-stamp BP-3b or BP-3c.
 
N.B. 1.  BP-3b has Twitchit spelled “Twitchett”
        2.  The white face became very dark and mottled 
             shortly after the 2nd variation was introduced.
                
Tabitha Twitchit and Miss Moppet comes in two Variations.Tabitha Twitchit and Miss Moppet
 
Variation one is in the small size (8.9 cm) and was modelled by David Lyttleton.  It was issued in 1976 and ran until 1993.  In this variation Tabitha has a lilac dress and Miss Moppet is standing on a yellow hassock.  It has the back-stamp BP-3b, BP-3c, BP-4 or BP-6a (Royal Albert)
 
Variation two is in the large size (14.0 cm) and was modelled by Martyn Alcock.   It was issued in 2000 in a limited edition of 2000.  In this variation Tabitha has a dark purple dress and Miss Moppet is standing on a yellow stool which has gold legs.  It has the back-stamp BP-9c.
