Mr Jeremy Fisher comes in two versions with several variations.
The first version is in the small size (7.4 cm) and was modelled by Arthur Gredington.
This first variation was issued in 1950 and ran until 1974. He is a green frog with a lilac coat and small brown spots on his head and legs. He comes with the back-stamp BP-1a, BP-2 BP-3 or BP-3b.
The second variation was also issued in 1950 and ran until 2002. He has a lilac coat with large spots on his head and stripes on is legs.
This variation has the back-stamp BP-1a, BP-3b, BP-3c or BP-10a.
This variation has the back-stamp BP-1a, BP-3b, BP-3c or BP-10a.
The third variation was issued in 2001 and has a satin finish. It was discontinued in 2002. He is a beige frog with large spots on his head and stripes on his legs. He has the back-stamp BP-11a.
The second version is in the large size (12.7 cm) and was modelled by Martyn Alcock.
The first variation of this version was issued in 1994 and is a green frog with a lilac coat and stripes on his legs. This was only issued by Royal Albert and not Beswick and has the back-stamp BP-6b. It was discontinued in 1997.
In the second variation he is a green frog with stripes on his legs, and a lilac coat with gold buttons. He was issued in 1998 in a limited edition of 1,947, and has the back-stamp BP-9c
Mr Jeremy Fisher Digging
Ted Chawner was the modeller for this Figurine. It was introduced in 1988 and retired in 1994. Jeremy is a green frog with brown highlights and he may have dark or light spots. He has a mauve coat, pink waistcoat and white cravat and has the back-stamp BP-4.
